This is something im fairly proud of, seeing how i made everything from scratch in photoshop, and took me a day to make (thats all added up pretty much). The theme is an ice type thing, and there is a supernova in the background, one of the focal points, about to destroy a planet and its fellow moon. I worked with :EE - Stock: to complete this one. He gave me the terrain for the planets (both of them, i know i know, ones a moon). So i think you stock for helping me on this! Your texture isnt very visible due to tweaking and such, but i used it for the terrain on the planet! Thanks a bunch and i hope everyone including stock enjoy this!
Very nice, another great spacescape. I think my favorite part about this is the ice planet. The white "clouds" from the supernova remind me of steam coming off an ice cube. xD But anyway, I love the colors and detail, you did a great job! Definately deserves a .
Wow! No comment.. I just love this... Especially the shadows of the planet and the moon, the stars are just beautiful.. I wish i could see this in real life... I just love it!!!

I think this is pretty, but in terms of technique, I think there could be some spots of improvement. Probably bits such as where the super nova fades, I think you could have left some of those "strands" still flying out. To do this, make the layer with a mask. The star feild might have been overly done, but that's fine. The planets are my hmms, where as, its a bit too complex and rather strange. Now that's truely fine, but then as a viewer, I'm not very pleased with seeing too many bits of islands with similar colors. Give it a "bumpy" feel more than a flat texture.
Overall, its very well composed, I love the layout and especially how the planet's atmosphere looks Very bright Awsome work

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
